Tenth Sunday after Pentecost

God’s forgiveness isn’t as personal as we sometimes make it out to be. Neither is God’s judgment. The nation of Israel cried out for relief for thousands of years, and so many of the faithful died without seeing that relief. But it took Jesus to show us that we must decide who to worship – and not everyone will choose wisely.
