Ninth Sunday after Pentecost
Isaiah brings a hard message to a group of folks who are worshiping their little hearts out. In short, God wants more than worship. The author of Hebrews anticipates the promises of the Kingdom, and Jesus himself reminds us that it is the “Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” His next words might just surprise you.
